Educational Guardianship Form
Educational Guardianship Form – What Are the Requirements?
Educational guardianship form is your nomination for a UK-based guardian to look after your child while at boarding school in the UK, an essential requirement. Finding the right guardian is important, as is knowing what you can expect from them. Read on to find out more about what it takes to be a guardian.
If you do not reside in the UK, you cannot be called upon to be there immediately in an emergency situation. This is one crucial reason why you must appoint an education guardian. The appointed guardian could be a nominated friend of the family or even another family member. The person you choose must be over 25 years of age, and they can’t be a full time student. They should have a permanent place of resident in Britain. In an ideal situation, they should live at most around two hours or so away from the school. When looking for people to undertake guardianships, you should find someone who speaks fluent English as well. Of course, the person you choose must be able to provide a safe and suitable place for your child to live during half term and over free weekends. It is inadvisable that your child stays unsupervised in hotels, bed and breakfasts or other arranged accommodation. Most importantly, you must select a guardian who is willing to undertake quite a great deal of responsibility. It might be unfair or unwise to put this on a friend who might already lead a busy life. Therefore, it is advisable that you go through a guardianship agency who can provide these services for a fee.
At Academic Guardians UK, we provide a world class guardianship service. You can rest assured that your child is safe and looked after, as we provide a comprehensive AEGIS accredited guardianship. Put our name on that educational guardianship form, but before you do so, check out our website and ensure you choose the services best suited to your situation.
Brilliant! You're company efficiency is totally amazing and helpful.
Mr Joe Wong, Parent Lancing College
I will need to personally email and thank you and the host family that my daughters stayed with over the weekend for their kind gesture. Their thoughtfulness towards understanding the need for a girl of my daughters age to feel secured and cared for, I am not taking for granted.
It was such a relief when she told me that you had already arranged for a packed lunch and the family provided all their favourite foods.
This ones, (host family) you, certainly hand-picked ! And I thank you for that.! With many like them, there is still hope in the loss of empathy in humanity.
Have a lovely day
Patience Evans, Parent St Mary’s
Thank you for your mail with Peeranut’s travel arrangements attached. Very efficient, as always.
Can I take this opportunity to thank you for all your brilliant support throughout the year and to wish you a lovely summer.
Peter O’Donoghue, Head of Boys Boarding, Bournemouth Collegiate School
Hope things are fine with you. Now the school is over and Sarah is now on her way home...
Therefore, I would like to say thank you for all your kindness and hospitality that has been extended to Sarah all this time. Unfortunately, I didn't attend the Speech Day this year so I didn't have the opportunity to express my gratitude personally to you. Hopefully someday somewhere an opportunity would arise for me to do so.
I wish you and the whole family a joyful summer break...and all the best for the future.
With warmest regards
Rita Tjahjadi, Parent Prior Park College, Bath
Thank you kindly for the travel details that you have sent through for both Natalie and Edith for the end of this term and start of next term - you are very well organised to be this far ahead! Many thanks for clarifying and sending on details for the other girls. It certainly makes life easier when return arrangements are sent in and you are one of the few agencies that does this; much appreciated!
Helen Tomlinson, Head of Boarding, Rye St Antony School
Thank you for your letter.
I have read the letter word by word, and I also told to Shaobo's mother about your letter. We are unable to express our gratitude to you with words and really appreciate your so considerate care and help to Shaobo. And now we could put our minds at ease. It is so good luck for Shaobo to meet you in UK!
Lou Jirong, Parent, Sidcot School
I am very impressed with your smooth and effective organisation. All the very best.
